We’re pretty sure that this Monday Morning Mashup, of two of largest population of sci-fi fanboys out there, needs no creative explanation. It’s one of the most highly debated topics in all of science fiction… Star Wars vs Star Trek. But, why can’t we be a fan of both? I’m sure we’ve all seen or heard jokes about Disney’s acquisition of Lucafilm over the past couple weeks. Heck, we’ve had a few posts about it ourselves! Most of the jokes are well deserved based on the track record of the films. But Disney can’t do any worse then Jar Jar Binks, right? Well this week’s Monday Morning Mashup looks at what we could see in the future should Disney continue to acquire their competition. Here’s a look into a possible future film.

First off, we wish the best of luck to all of our east coast fans affected by Super-storm Sandy last week. We may have been light on the posts, but the damages were definitely massive for some. Hang in there. We hope this week’s Monday Morning Mashup can help shine some light on your week.
Today’s MMM brings a re-imaging of the self-proclaimed ‘happiest place on Earth.’ Their most recent acquisition has the whole sci-fi world buzzing with the potential for another trilogy in this legendary series. Cloud City now trumps it’s predecessor as the ‘happiest place in the universe.’

The only good thing about the end of the weekend is that we get to bring a new MMM here at Teesd.com. This week’s Monday Morning Mashup is one I am surprised we haven’t seen more. With the success of both themes on cable and the big screen, this Lord Stark mashup should be one of many. Remember, there must always be a Stark in Winterfell… even if he is a merely a genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist when you take away his suit of armor.

Enjoying your Columbus Day? Whether you’re working or off, we’re here to start your week off right with another Monday Morning Mashup. This weeks MMM includes two widely watched television shows, one which was recently made into a movie and aired on tv in the 80′s followed by the other 20 years later. The only other hint this week is this: I finally understand why B.A. refused to fly.
